Why No RNO-ORD On UA?

I think this would be a great route even if AA already runs it.

There probably isn't the demand for both AA and UA to run service to ORD, and now with WN going daily on RNO-MDW the chances of UA wanting to run that are even lower and I'm sure if they did the yields will be pretty poor.

because doing so is an absolutely hair-brained idea.
If you need someone to blame / throw a rock in the air / you'll hit someone guilty

In all likelyhood once WN starts the route, AA will surely drop it.
