That will get real old real fast for AA passengers if this is true. This could really help CO and DL in UIO. This isn’t a terribly busy time of the year so there are plenty of options.

If anyone can provide details on the extra time it costs AA passengers, that would be worth knowing.

Especially DL since their service was just started last June. What on earth did AA do to piss someone off like that?

Well, I'm confused. I checked for the past week and both AA flights MIA-UIO (flts 931 and 967) landed at UIO.

The only thing I can imagine is that we are not being allowed to use the main TERMINAL, but rather a military terminal at the airport (althought I can find nothing in SABRE to indicate that anything unusual is happening at all).

If this is the case, that is different from landing at a military AIRFIELD and being bussed to Sucre International, which is the impression I got from the original linked article.

I will try to find out more......anybody else know what's going on?

That's what I don't get either. AA's flights MIA-UIO and UIO-MIA are showing on AA.com as operating normally, and on schedule, for the last few days. What gives?

They were on time but they werent allowed to enter the gate, so there awas a delay upon ght eaprking, making the passengers mad, and the deboarding very slow with staris, like the old days and very far away from the terminal>

Suprises me. QUIPORT/CORPAQ are always doing something wrong. I feel aashamed sometimes of their actions.

I take it DL and CO agreed to the fee hike then?
