The underside needs to be yellow and the wingbox green. Are we to believe anyone would eat a hot dog without mustard and relish?

The Oscar Meyer painting rights fee is expected to cover most of the plane's annual fuel bill.

I prefer mine with Ketchup, Mayo, and Dill Relish, actually.  Smile

And the "Bun" needs to go down further.

Well, I never started putting mustard on ANYTHING until recently, didn't like it as a kid... and I can't stand sweet pickles. Plus, I love Mayo and Ketchup.

Anyway, back to the image, it's a nice color overlay... could be a little better, but I probably couldn't do better than was done.

It is a new concept where the hotdog is bigger than the bun.

OMG! Mayo on a hotdog is reprehensible beyond belief... This thread needs to be deleted in its entirety. I have read few sicker things on the net.

Now barbeque sauce is not so bad...

A press release some time ago indicated that the matter is under discussion with the contractor that will operate the aircraft. That contractor is Evergreen International Airlines www.evergreen-eagle.com in Oregon, with Cargolux as a subcontractor for certain European matters.

Doubtful. The plane is a freighter, so it's probably going to get minimal painting to save weight.

Mayo!!!! on a hotdog....In PA, especially Qtown-Philly you would be hung in court square at sunrise, adn heckled by the crowd..charged for the ruthlesss decimation and 1st degree assault on one our cities famous and finest.
Never mind that so much (as a true Phillian would say)- Poor old Mr. Nathan (of the frank empire) is rolling in his bun, I mean, 'er grave.

Not for the faint of heart or culinarily ept folks! Could be the beginning of a coup d'etat for Hellman's!

Cheers!

Finally the PERFECT color scheme for this horrible-looking bird... now it actually looks like something most people like.... with that c/s the weinerJet is the biggest add for a hot-dog in the world! It would sure make a "BIG" impression and would defenitely open up an appetite to those that see it... as someone said, Boeing could easily make some nice profit besides carrying parts with this bird... just use it as an hot-dog flying billbord!!

Yes its really the paint scheme. Oscar Meyer paid some serious money for it too. They also agreed to have the pilots fly it around at very slow speeds near sporting events and other large gatherings when its not transporting 787 components.  Wink LOL

In all seriousness there has been much speculation on to what the livery.
Could be all white (probably the most likely and all the models have been pure white also).

I think most of us would prefer (especially the KPAE photographers) the aircraft to be in some sort of normal livery. Hopefully boeing will spend the money/weight for the Dreamliner liv... though i'm not holding my breath.

Hopefully it will be standard drean liner house colors like Airbus did when they repainted ther A300 Beluga aircraft into the new Airbus house colors.
