Check out:

I did, expecting that the FF rewards would be reduced and expecting a foretaste of cuts by QF. Imagine my surprise - or did I read it upside down?

Taxes, fees and charges are still large, I don't know the best way to spend miles.

A couple hundred on a First ticket is fine for me as the ticket would be thousands otherwise.

AA also doesn't charge any YQ - USD 21 of tax on my BKK-SYD-PPT-SYD-BKK on BA/TN. F on all segments.

Indeed! I had hoped that all destinations would be reduced, but that's not the case.

I've just blown my 300K miles on first class returns to the US next year to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary. The only question remaining is, who shall I take with me. scratchchin  duck  wink
