Nice to see someone buying into the -900X. Maybe the beginning of a comeback for Bombardier?

Maybe ... still holding its breath for Delta and Northwest RJ order anouncements.

MyAir's order though is quite interesting, given the fact they are a Low Cost Operator currently operating five A320's !!!!!!!!

Question: Is there a new trend amongst LCC to use smaler 90 to 120 seater aircraft rather than the classy 180 seat A320 ? Less jet-fuel consumption perhaps ?

Are we any closer to knowing the identity of the 16 787s announced a week or so ago?

The cat is already out of the bag when it comes to NWA, isn't it? (E175)

Delta.com now has the seatmap for the CRJ900 showing (SkyWest's aircraft), so if DL is happy with the OO CRJ900s perhaps they'll order more...?

I think MyAir will stay with the CRJ900 as the 900X won't be available for 2-3 years, too long for a growing airline. 90 seats should be enough if they are flying them to smaller destinations and off-peak runs between the bigger cities.

Might work out well. Look at AirTran with the 717. The -900X is the closest thing still in production. Still wish they had increased the diameter of the fuselage for the -900X, rather than just a simple stretch. Would like to see a Bombardier take on a 717/F100

Not correct as written. MyAir has ordered 19 CRJ900 with the right to convert 15 to CRJ900X should this version be launched.
