The Northwest 757 scheduled to take the Arizona Cardinals to Atlanta has been sitting on the ground at SkyHarbor since 0800MST, with a scheduled departure of Noon as NW #9964. Still don't understand how NW could be money on this service since they have to ferry the plane in 1500 miles from MSP.

Sometimes they dont ferry the equipment, but crap out a flight the day the charter is needed. Not many pax are inconvenienced because the xcle is planned days in advance.

True, but in this case the plane was ferry in this morning as flight #9824, and the same thing yesterday for the Cal Bears flew to Oakland and then Eugene. Now that one really was strange for a 450 mile charter!

The Cowboys usually take an AA 757 to where they are traveling.

Actually because of the nature of NFL schedules such might occur say 6 months in advance, so hardly anyone is inconvenianced !

Go Chargers... for that matter... GO Titans @ Home against Dallas.  Big grin

And I'll take the Jags over Washington, too.
