YQT-YYZ On AC In 1991

Tue Oct 03, 2006 12:34 pm

I'm looking to find out what the first aircraft I ever flew on was. This was way back in 1991 and the route was YQT-YYZ on AC. Does anyone know what most likely the aircraft used would have been, or know where I can find this information?

Thanks
Cal

AC used to fly DC-9s pretty much exclusively to YQT during that time period.

So do you think is would be safe to say, if I ever made a list of aircraft flown on, I've unknowingly flown on a DC-9?

Thanks

in 91, YQT-YYZ would most likely of been a DC-9. Air Ontario was flying a YYZ-YAM-YQT-... flight back then as well though. In 91 it would be been with Dash 8s i believe as the F.28s were gone by then i think?
Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Starting with the Spring 1991 schedule change, Air Canada operated four flights a day from Thunder Bay to Toronto. All were scheduled as DC-9s.

Barring any equipment substitutions for maintenance or marketing, then yes, you flew on a DC-9.
Just because I stopped arguing, doesn't mean I think you are right. It just means I gave up!
