QF 380 News Story

Wed Oct 04, 2006 9:02 am

First news I've seen on the 380 delay from QF and rather mild at that:

"We expect to have four aircraft by the end of 2008 and seven by mid-2009, which we understand maintains the original delivery schedule with the other two launch airlines," chief financial officer Peter Gregg said.

Mr Gregg said the delay was disappointing and had triggered review of the airline's capacity needs in light of the revised delivery timetable.

The only thing I see that is new is the comment about a review of the airline's capacity needs. I would guess that points to more compensation from Airbus.
