Bunny On Strike

Tue Oct 10, 2006 6:56 am

Got this telex today at work about a delayed flight, with a quite strange reason..

Are the bunnies on strike, or just a birdstrike with birds in bunny-suit?

(sorry, airline related parts censored, otherwise I'll get in trouble with my boss..)

Thought it was kind of funny..

This reminds me of a flight into Brussels. We landed after a long overseas trip. My copilot was very tired it was about 10 pm local. There were about a dozen or so live rabbits running all over the taxiway. She said in her distinct British accent "Oh my gosh, look at all the bunnys!"

I asked "What?"

She goes "The bunnies, look the rabbits they are all around us?"

I said "I don't see any rabbits?"

Her mouth just hung open in disbelief and her eyes in a daze. Took a bit of a reset for that one!!
