So the Airbus's Worst Nightmareliner has become the most successful widebody in history. As slots fill up, we can probably expect more surging of orders as airlines realise they need to get in now. Then what? A dry spell? Perhaps.
The question is, is that such a bad thing? Sure, it will affect the A vs B war, but in terms of profits, don't the manufactures get paid upon delivery? So that would mean that as long as Boeing doesn't decide to boom and bust they production, profits will remain steady and so the company is in a good state.
So, it looks like it's all good.
