Goededag/Bonjour,

Just wondering if anyone knew of decent "affordable" longer term parking at, or near, BRU-- say 7-10 days? Something cheaper than the main lot the Airport is hocking. Thanks for any words on the issue.

Q Park and CarHotel offer services at BRU that are less costly than the rip off at the airport (especially the Park and Lock, which I use from time to time.....but Park and Lock is the only facility with insurance and security).

Some friends simply park on the street in the Zaventem and take a short taxi ride to the airport.

Send me a message for more info.......for 7 to 10 days, the taxi service from the Maastricht area to the airport is a much better buy, especially when you consider the cost of gasoline.

You can also use a free public parking stop nearby a bus stop of airport line 11/12 (e.g. Diamant under the bridge, or in Evere: Geneva,...). I did this for a weekend trip to Finland and it's a very cheap alternative to airport parking.

Now I have a company car so I'm not as concerned as if it was my own (maybe I should but this isn't the point) but unless you boast a luxury car or display a GPS trace on your windshield or money pile on the passenger seat, nothing should be happening to your car, just mind closing the mirrors..

The bus ride is just 3 EUR each way. Check out www.stib.be.

Cool, thanks for the info. ( I sent a PM also Dutchjet)

I don't know if I want to park my truck with USA tags on the street  Wink but if it was covered enough maybe. I make it a point of wiping the GPS circles off the windshield daily Big grin good advice my friend!

Thanks again for the info and the link Cedars
