Aircalin / Air France New Safety Videos.

Sun Oct 15, 2006 4:26 pm

Hi !
For those interested, here are two safety videos I have recorded on my latest flights using my digital camera. The quality could be much better of course, but anyway it gives you an idea...
The AF safety video is fairly new I believe, as it has been changed recently.

Cool! Nicely done. Big grin

In the Aircalin video, during the brace position demo, is one person (the middle one) leaning BACK instead of forward? How unusual..

Nice to see a change in the AF safety vids. I always like it when they have real persons acting instead of computer animations, same for the safety leaflet. I really liked the old Varig 733 safety leaflet, as they used to have real photographs instead of graphics, dunno if they still had them in their recent editions.

I noticed that too... and I thought maybe it was to show how pregnant women should lean isn't it? As that person looked to me like a pregnant lady. I checked some of my safety cards and there are some drawings of "big" persons leaning back...

Thanks AOMlover for uploading them. I love airline safety videos! Specially that background music!! I absolutely loved the Air France french accent!!

Here...Just to share, my best friend and I flew to Mérida this last June and he recorded the safety announcements for an AeroMéxico 737.

Hope you like it!

Wow!!
That female Air France Flight Attendant is waaaaaaaaay a knock out!!! OMG!!! I fell in love with her!!

 Wow!

From the owner of the Air France You Tube version... The Air New Zealand 767...

"Even if you fly with us frequently, please watch this safety demonstration carefully as it is specific to this aircraft..."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8JKAslZ06o

That New Zealand accent is so hypnotic...

What I don't understand on AirCalin, there is nothing in english... Isn't it to international regulation to make the safety demo in english??

Hrmm...that makes no sense to me because the research I've looked at all say to lean forward to avoiding striking the head or jacknifing. For instance, Transport Canada tells those who are preggie to lean over. Does anyone know of other carriers that make their "two in one" pax lean back?

Debonair, on the Aircalin video there are English subtitles which are hidden by the "passenger announcement" display.
