What Is That Thing Hanging Down From The Tail

if u look at the rudder there is a line hanging down. is that a radar or something?

It's something that tests the performance of new aircraft. I'm sure someone on here can explain it a lot better, though.... once it enters commercial service, it will be removed.

That's a cone housing a remote pressure measurement instrument for test flights.

1) Besides being an Airline manufacturuer, Airbus is also testing new fishing lures. These new lures are designed to take on the biggest and toughest fish out there.

2) Some people put fuzzy dice on the dashboard, Airbus hangs bells.

no, no you are all wrong...

It is part of Airbus' new braking system...that is the mini chute that failed to deploy the main "arresting chute" housed in the tail fin.
You can't get there from here.
