Friend of mine works for AA in Paris and said they are now on the little 767's they fly here. I may even consider flying them again one day now that they're starting to make an effort again.
When all's said and done, there'll be more said than done.

There are only two planes with the new seats and they filter all throughout the system. They aren't dedicated to any one route or region.

Hawaii, South America, Europe, trans cons, they go everywhere.

Effective NOV. 1st, 2006 (3) AA 763's will have the lie-flat Business seats, they will be introducing addt'l planes...just be patient. They're flown randomly...it's a matter of luck. Good Luck!

In what pace will AA implement the new C class cabin, on aa.com they say "throughout the year? Anyone know more specific, will they actually be completed within this year?

The plan is to have all the 767's finished in the May-June 2007 time frame. Aircraft 398 is the latest to have the seats installed.
Never take financial advice from co-workers.

Just an update. I got the old seats in both directions, but all in all it was ok. I flew 8 legs in 10 days on AA. 2 major delays (over 2 hours) and 6 on-time flights. Not too bad. Hope to get the new business class on my next flights in December. If and when I do, I will file a trip report. Thanks for the help.
