Flight Deck Photos

Mon Oct 23, 2006 2:03 am

Some of the shots on here from the Flight Deck of many airliners are great, BUT - many of them seem to use flash - surely this is really dangerous especially on approach as many of them are ?

If i was a pilot and someone asked to take a photo, and hadn't turned the flash off , i'd consider them a danger to the safety of the airliner, for momentarily blinding me...

Surely this seems obvious, but consideration MUST be given to the pilots vision in this critical phase of flight?

Just out of curiosity, would you happen to have any specific examples?

As long as you keep your eyes on the road, and they are behind you, shouldn't be a big deal?

Why would the pilots be looking at the camera?
Dear moderators: No.
