Headrests On Delta 767-400ER And 777-200ER

Thu Oct 26, 2006 3:31 am

Does anyone know if the headrests on Delta's 767-400ER and 777-200ER economy seats will be removed or not?

A few newer 757s that Delta had had their headrests removed when they were converted to Song. The 737-800s had their headrests removed for a narrower seat back, and this was before Delta started to add leather seat covers. Any answer on this would be appreciated?

I wish they would add them to all planes, and at least keep them on the 764/777. These make a big difference when trying to sleep on long sectors, especially now that there's no more pillows!

Plus, UA, AA, CO, NW, and pretty much all foreign carriers have these on long-haul flights. DL should join the club. Maybe they'll add new coach seats when they add the new BizE seats a little down the road.

True... the DL 777s are some of the most comfortable planes I've ever been on... those headrests are really nice!
