JetBlue A320 And XM Radio

Thu Oct 26, 2006 7:24 am

I know that all the E190's have XM as well as some A320's. Has JetBlue said when all the A320's will have XM Radio?

I don't know of any jetBlue A320's that have it, but you might try this thread below.....http://www.airliners.net/discussions...eneral_aviation/read.main/2282411/

We have some, much to my surprise I flew on one last week from HOU to JFK. I think we will have them all updated to XM by sometime next year. I don't have a timetable because things always change from day to day as I'm sure you are aware. The 320 I was on was newer, can't remember the tail number.

All are suppose to have the XM by the end of '07. I believe that there are at least 5-7 that are flying around with the XM installed right now. All of our new deliveries are getting XM right away, and the others are following as soon as they head in for routine MX.

I flew on N652JB about a month ago, 2 weeks into her service, and she had XM, and I was shocked to see how many customers really prefered the XM to the TV. I would say the flight was split right down the middle, half watching TV and the others listening to the XM.

I saw that too on a JFK-IAD-JFK trip recently on the 190. XM is a big hit with B6, great choice.

I am taking the morning flight from IAD-OAK. I am assuming i should eat breakfast since nothing much will be served on the flight, right? Any other ideas?

N521JB has it and was the first A320 in the fleet to have it installed.
