LHR Terminal 5 Photo's..

Sun Oct 29, 2006 2:44 am

Howdy Folks,

Had a walk round the new T5 construction site the otherday and wanted to share the following photographs with you, externally and internally.

I must say its a very impressive structure and looks very nice inside!

Looks good! I love taking off at LHR and seeing it from above. The new terminal is often on BBC London news I saw a small piece about it a few weeks ago.

Looking good! Now if only they could replace the other 4 terminals with ones that looked like that, LHR would finally be an airport worthy of its status!!

I managed to get a look around the site in May last year. It certainly has progressed a lot since - it's starting to look more like a terminal rather than just a building site.

Looks very plain with little attractive external architecture. In other words a big barn.

Well, remember what happened to CDG's beautiful looking terminal....... Those pix don't really show off how nice T5a really is though unfortunately. It's truly a massive structure and looks amazing from all angles.

Sorry, I can't get it to open automatically, but if you cut and paste the above it should work!

And yet another positive remark by you about the British aviation industry, as it includes BA and BAA!  hissyfit
