Status Of A380s

Fri Nov 03, 2006 6:51 pm

Readng the press release that's on the Airbus website at the moment :

http://www.airbus.com/en/presscentre...10_31_a380_tech_route_proving.html

There is the paragraph at the end:

"Five development A380s have now flown. Four aircraft, one of which is powered by the Engine Alliance GP7200 engine, are now actively involved in the intensive flight test programme, which has already reached over 730 flights and 2,300 flight hours. The fifth aircraft is undergoing cabin installation in Hamburg"

The last sentence is interesting to me. Is it a mistake as they wouldn't be fitting an interior whilst they're still trying to work out the wiring plans?
