KLM And Air France In Atlanta!

Fri Nov 03, 2006 10:53 pm

Hi all,
This is a question regarding the KLM/Air France story in Atlanta. Have both airlines reduced flights? I have been trying to see the flight status of KLM 621/AFR 304 daily but only get it on selected days now. I was wondering if the flight numbers were changed at first, but since the SAA and AMX departures from ATL, I have been increasingly edgy about any other exodus, given that we don't have any variety in international carriers..Anyone know about this??
Thanks a lot,
Ruslan

I don't know much but when I travelled back home ATL-MAN on Tuesday 22nd August, A KLM 767 was there and possibly also an Air France 777, if I recall correctly.

Hope this helps in some way  Smile

Both KLM and Air France are still operating into ATL but there have been some changes at the onset of the winter timetable, starting last Sunday:

* KLM has reduced its daily operation into a 5 times weekly flight only for the winter. KLM will continue to operate the B763ER into ATL until December 30. From December 31 onward, KLM will operate the flight with the new A332.

* Air France continues to operate a daily flight into ATL, but the equipment, schedule and flight number have changed. AF operates CDG now with flight number AF328, whereas the return flight number remains AF307. The flight is now operated with a 2-class A343 as opposed to a 3-class B772ER, and the flight operates approximatetely 2 hours earlier from CDG in order to obtain increased connectivity at ATL. Next summer, Air France will upgrade the flight to a 2-class B744 with similar timings.
