B737 - America West Livery In JNB

Sun Nov 05, 2006 6:46 pm

What a surprise to see N336AW (HP colours) in JNB at the SA hangars, just next to the C apron.... According to airfleets.com, she was returned by America West to GECAS. Does anybody know to which airline this plane is headed to?

At JNB are three other B737-300s - all would be converted into freighters.

23512/1291 N558AU (former US Airways) now for South African Airways
24023/1675 N783DC (former Bulgaria Air) now for Estafeta Carga Aerea
24024/1689 N784DC (former Bulgaria Air) now for Estafeta Carga Aerea

I think that N336AW also would end as a cargo-B737, perhaps with SAA.
