FAA License To JAR License. What Must I Do?

Mon Nov 06, 2006 8:55 am

I was wondering if some of our European friends could help me with this. I am a Multi-Engine Commercial rated instrument pilot. I wanted to move back to Spain and fly for a Spanish airline.

What must I do if I wanted to have my FAA Licenses converted to JAR licenses? Any help will truly be appreciated.

Perhaps try these sites for more information:

http://www.horizon-sfa.ch/licence2/Conversion1.htm
http://www.pprune.org/forums/archive/index.php/t-43248.html
http://www.aweu.org/modules.php?op=m...sid=21&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0

Should disclaim that I do not have direct experience with JAR regulations (except in passing), so keep that in mind. More definitive sources of legal information would probably be safer such as an actual copy of JAR regs at your fingertips or talking with administrative personnel in Europe.
