JetBlue Has Strong October

Whoa! A 25% jump in PRASM when most airlines are expecting a leveling-off trend. Load factor also increased by 2/5%. I believe that's the only increase in LF that JetBlue has seen this year.

Wall Street is happy with the news as well.

Which makes me a very happy investor! But all in all October looks like it should be a good month for B6. One thing that is apparent that they are running a lot more short haul routes is the increase in departures.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that was mainly driven by the 21.7% decrease in stage length, which comes with a corresponding increase in CASM.

Their stage-length-adjusted PRASM likely increased in the high single digits. Still better than many of their peers, and impressive given the capacity additions, but I'd doubt their operating margin is significantly different this October than it was last October.
I'm the expert on here on two things, neither of which I care about much anymore.
