GOL To LIM Codeshare With LAN?

Thu Nov 09, 2006 1:07 am

GOL announced it will start flying daily to LIM. Apparently the flight will be operated with LA metal. Could anyone confirm? LA currently operates GRU-LIM B763.

GOL teaming up with LA sounds very strange since both airlines are in war considering that GOL just started to serve SCL-EZE and SCL-GRU detonating a substantive drop in airfares for these routes.

GOL's schedule for LIM:

Does it mean both airlines have not signed an agreement? GOL stated before it would like to operate LIM with its own metal.

I am not sure why you are assuming its a code share flight. The time of the LIM-GRu flight is the same as the LAN flight, however the GRU LIM flight is not

I doubt LAN would agree to codeshare with a LCC

No Hardi, Gol flight will be GIG-GRU-LIM with own metal (738 SFP) without any code-share with LA. This flight in the future will be extended to MEX.

Gol also will run a SCL-LIM flight 2x daily.
