VLM - Operations From EIN

Tue Nov 14, 2006 8:17 pm

Noted on the Netherlands slot co-ordinators website was an allocation of 420 slots, during W06, for VLM from EIN.

No details of any VLM flights from EIN on their website. Where will they be flying to? LCY??

Are they going to take-over the old AF route to Paris??

Probably they were flown by Denim air, also a big F-50 charter/lease (with crew/ and frequency airline. They have theire homebase at EIN, and since VLM ownes Denim air since this year, it might be possible that it were Denim flights, on the slots of VLM? because as far as i know, VLM doesn't fly to Eindhoven yet, but with Eindhoven becomming the 2nd airport of the Netherlands, its very likely they will start service soon!

I wondered if they were Denim slots, but I thought Denim had given up their scheduled services? That said, on the RTM slot page for W06 there are both VLM & Denim slot requests. Are the Denim requests a way of VLM getting more slots, as they are shown still waiting for 1890 slots to be allocated? RTM is such a joke for slots, will the airport ever overcome the local council restrictions??
