Speaking only for myself, it's 100%. I stopped doing the "elite status runs" and just buy an F or C ticket when I need to travel. Saves me thousands a year.

Thanks!

I wish I could fly on a C ticket, but does anyone has a cited number?

Thanks,

Gpeso!

For a ballpark estimate I would start by looking at the ratio of first/business seats to coach seats on aircraft used for domestic flights (don't forget regionals, which typically have a ratio of zero). Then multiply by the number of each aircraft in service, flights per day...

This assumes equal load factors for first & coach.

Are we talking about people who actually pay full price for first or business, or are we including the much higher number of people who upgrade at the gate for cheap?
