. Why does something tell me that they have a corporate agreement with Wally World?

It looks like it's in the middle of BFE. It looks like only one lane country roads lead to it.
Yep, my girlfriend lives out there and attends the Univ of Arkansas in Fayetteville. The airport is out in the middle of BFE
with just little 2 lane roads going there, but some of those houses around are immense. Obvious Wal-Mart money.
As far as the airport itself, its a nice little airport. Very laid back and well laid out, with the exception of that barn-like tunnel on one side. Anytime I walk through there, I feel like I should be mingling with cattle and hay bales should be stacked up on either side. And their TSA
baggage screening is a snafu. But other than that, not bad. Right after check-in(and everyone is right there together), you go upstairs, immediately through security, and right in front of you are the only 3 gates, NW
. All others(DL, CO
, US) have to go down an escalator and into a common gate area. Upon boarding do you enter "The Barn." I really think XNA
should consider tearing that down and they could add another 5 or 6 gates and jetways to that side. The most time you will spend in the airport is through the TSA
checkpoint, but they have some of the nicest TSA
folks I've seen. Much more professional than most TSA
Nazi's, very patient, and very lenient to airline personnel(thanks guys, if you're reading). In fact, its more like the airline personnel are the only possible trouble-makers you may encounter.
But other than that, I have to commend the XNA
airport authority on making the most of the little place. As said, very laid back atmosphere, is complete with a fairly large gift shop, a nice eating area with a wide variety of foods and great view of the tarmac, even a decent bar if one decided on a beer before the flight. Even is equipped with a business center and massage chairs, and the common gate waiting area has plenty of avaible seating and spacious and clean restrooms.
All in all, I would give the airport a 7, even with its 1 baggage carousel. But if you are travelling to XNA
, take a cab or have someone drive you, or you'll never find it. But the scenery is nice along the way, and as I always tease my girlfriend when leaving the airport(because we see and smell so many), the state animal of Arkansas is a dead skunk.
If FL and AR end up in the SEC Championship, my Razorback girlfriend will have to be on one side of the house while my Gator self is on the other.

I don't have a microwave, but I do have a clock that occasionally cooks shit.
