Five Hurt As PVG-YVR Flight Hits Bad Turbulence

Mon Nov 20, 2006 2:50 am

Fortunately, this aircraft was able to land safely and without further incident. Anyone that has flown over the Northern China-Korea-Japan-North Pacific this time of the year knows how bad the bumps can get! Reminds me of the UA flight from NRT to HNL in which a pax died after hitting the cabin ceiling. How many times does this need to happen before people learn to sit down a buckle up when the sign illuminates?!

Thanks for the heads up. The search engine didn't pick it up when I went to submit the topic.
