Did I Miss Something Here.....?

Sat Nov 25, 2006 3:25 am

The following picture has a caption of "After landing for the first time in Israel the Capitan open the window to hang three flags Israel flag Lufthansa flag and German flag...." Now the picture shows a 346.

I know LH has been serving TLV for many years and back when I was a travel agent they had 2 flights from FRA (last time I checked it was an 330 in the morning and a 747 for the afternoon/evening flight). But at one point they also had a flight from MUC, but I remember they cancelled that flight in the early 2000's.

So is this just an equipment upgrade? First time the 346 has flown into TLV? Captain's first flight into TLV? Or did I miss something else?

If anyone has any info, or could help out a lost person, just let me know. Thanks

-Stealth
