As I was watching this, I was going to say it was a nice display of good airmanship.... until I saw him severely side load the gear and almost strike a wingtip... now I think I'll say its a nice display of stupidity.

Don't do things that are beyond the limitations of yourself or your airplane. The sustained wind speed may be fine (as it appeared in this video), but the gust factor can bite you when you least expect it (as also shown).

Check out the trees in the back ground, the wind is really blowing.

Luscombe 8A, my first airplane flight 1954 when I was 9, my cousin was the pilot and owner. He later sold the Luscombe to my sister. Great airplane.
