PZ (Tam Mercosur) With A320 And Business Class

Sun Nov 26, 2006 12:50 pm

TAM Mercosur (Paraguay), owned by JJ, will upgrade their operations on December 15, changing one F100 with one Airbus A320-200.

Today, i realize that PZ will also introduce Business Class service on some selected flights:

PZ712/PZ713 ASU-GRU-GIG-GRU-ASU
PZ714/PZ715 ASU-EZE-ASU
PZ704/PZ705 GIG-EZE-GIG

Passengers from LHR, MIA, CDG, JFK now can fly to ASU on Business Class (nowadays with the F100 it's impossible). ASU was the only international non stop JJ service from GRU without Business Class.

Tam also announced they will retire all F100 fleet by the first quarter 2008 which means more PZ flights should be upgraded soon.

Claudio, IIRC PZ operates 4 F100. Effective Dec, 15 will be 1 A320 and 3 F100. I believe 2 F100 will be replaced by 2 A319 and another F100 by A320 (i don't know if they will add C Class also)

C Fares EZE-ASU are very interesting: Y for R$ (Reais) 709,00 , C for R$ 1090,00. Also GRU-ASU fares. I believe they look for just 2 markets: ASU-GRU and EZE-GIG.

I will try to obtain the routing for each F100 nowadays.
