Well, only 2 carriers fly the 747. The 773 has been deemed too big for the majors, it might be a 744 replacement or UA
might just wait for the NG
The 736 is a shrink and has pretty bad economics. A large RJ
can do the job at a much lower cost. It has alot of extra weight for its pax capacity.
The A340 was on order by US carriers at one time, but other widebody twins have been deemed better suited for the market here. A330, 767, 777 have been deemed better by the bean counters.
