British Airways Seating Plan

Wed Nov 29, 2006 7:15 am

First of all sorry if I put this in the wrong forum, not sure if this goes in the tec/ops bit as isn't quite on the same level as the technical questions in there!

Could someone clear something up for me?
I'm booked to go to Warsaw in January on BA CE with my mate, we have been given seating assignments for our flight back and I'm a bit confused about them.

We have been given 6E+F on the A319, we looked at the plan, and it says the options are A, C, D, E or F, but i thaught that the way it worked was that there was basically a 3-3 configuration and the middle seat was unoccupied or made into a drinks table therefore the available seats would be A, C, D and F! or at least that's what I read when i searched for other posts!

What is going on? there are very few pics of CE that I can find that show the ABC side of the cabin to try and find out that way.

Has it been changed to a 2-3 config? coz i thaught the seats were adjustable so had to be 3-3 throughout.

I tried looking on the BA website but their seat maps just show A320 maps with a 2-3 config throughout when you click on CE, and on ET it shows 3-3 throughout.
what is going on????

Sorry for the long winded explanation, I just want to know coz we'd rather sit in A and C than D and E with some other person next to us!

Go for A-C as the opposite side still has D-E-F.

You should be able to change by going to ba.com/mmb

well, there we go, don't know what I was on about! lol!

on the photos on the database of A319/20s it seems like its 3-3 all the way down that all! how do they change the seats for economy then - are they adjustable?

I thaught they would have a 3-3 config with a little table thing like I've seen on LH.

thanks for the info guys!

Yes the first 15 rows or so are adjustable depending on the load of Business and Economy passengers.

Its different for each aircraft though. New seats are being refitted at the moment to match the A321s I think.
