* Des Moines will be daily service from mid February through mid April into Las Vegas. As mentioned in another thread, Des Moines drops from four to three weekly into Orlando in February, that coming off of a twice a week service period in January. I was at the Des Moines airport last week and folks with the airport there are under the belief that Des Moines to St. Petersburg will be announced in the near future.
* Mid America/St. Louis to Orlando goes to three weekly for a period over Christmas and then resumes back to twice weekly, but moves to Sunday and Thursdays...instead of Wednesdays and Saturdays. Allegiant also offers its service to Las Vegas on Sundays and Thursdays, too.
* Peoria remains six weekly into Las Vegas with no service on Saturdays. Interestingly enough, the Allegiant flight from St. Pete will do a Saturday mornining turn. Question is....what will Allegiant do with the dormant aircraft from Las Vegas? Will they "hire" another airline or service at the facility to push the aircraft back onto the tarmac to allow the inbound from St. Pete plane to come and use Gate 1? The gate is positioned in a manner that Allegiant can pull its aircraft up and away from the gate without having to use a tug or reverse thrust at the gate. I am not sure if the other gates are common use or not but each airline at the airport has its own gate area with United and American both having flights come into their gates around the same time as the Allegiant St. Pete arrival.
