LONDON (AFX) - US planemaker Boeing Co said it has won a 153 mln usd order for a 787 Dreamliner from Swiss business aviation group PrivatAir.
The two companies said the order would make Geneva-based PrivatAir the first commercial business aviation specialist to buy the 787.
PrivatAir will add the jet to its six-strong Boeing fleet, which comprises
a newly acquired 767, one 757, three Boeing Business Jets (BBJs) and one BBJ2.
The Swiss airline said it is evaluating the two engine options, General Electric Co''s GEnx and Rolls-Royce Group PLC''s Trent 1000.
