Skybus Billboard In Columbus

Wed Dec 06, 2006 1:39 pm

My current client is on Tussing Road just east of Columbus. Driving to I-70 on the way home tonight, a nice new orange billboard caught my eye. It's a Skybus billboard, and it says something to the effect of "Fly somewhere for the cost of a tank of gas... or less."

Pretty bold statement. These guys are serious.

The billboard is on the west side of Brice Road just south of I-70, facing the northbound traffic.

There is another one just off International Gateway when you are exiting the airport. It is right behind the Wendy's billboard.

Well, my truck fills for less than $50, so I guess the 'somewhere' won't be too far.  Wink

Well since they are probably using marketing funds supplied from the airport authority and not any of there own dollars, take it for what it is worth.
You can cut the irony with a knife

They'll have to charge less than a tank of gas to get people to fly from Columbus to Ft. Worth, TX or Trenton, NJ or Bellingham, WA or Rockford, IL...the list goes on and on.
Prepare doors for departure and cross-check.
