Venezuela's Avior Airlines Gets Green Light To MIA

The US DoT has granted approval for Venezuela's Avior Airlines to operate 737-200 service from Barcelona to Miami.

In the application, Avior Airlines sates it plans to launch the flight from 07DEC06.

Great news ! I hope they are successful on this route. Are they really going to use the 732 ? As far as I remember there were rumors that the would use a 737-800 from Miami Air.

I think those rumours were from CCS. AFAIK the BLA-MIA will be with 737-200.

Anyways, great news. They made some changes in the domestic flights to allow connections from PMV, PZO, VLN and even CCS. I wish them the best.

But is it a 3 hours flight. A 737-200 can definately make it. Please correct me if I am wrong.
