TCX Flight - What Aircraft Type?

Fri Dec 08, 2006 2:19 am

OK, so I do one of these everytime I have a flight, so I can find out what a/c type I will be going on and if possible which aircraft it will be, and this time is no differant.

So I am going to the hotel in FUE, which is under the flight path, The Barcelo Fuerteventura.

Flight Info:

Operator: TCX

Outbound
Date: 27 Dec 06
Dep Airport: MAN
Arrival Airport: FUE
Dep Time: 08:30
Arrival Time: 12:45
Flight Code: 30CY6

Inbound

Date: 03/04 Jan 07
Dep Airport: FUE
Arrival Airport: MAN
Dep Time: 21:10
Arrival Time: 01:20
Flight Code: 30CY7

Do anybody know what aircraft will be used etc.

Thanks
Tom.  goodvibes

TCX Flight - What Aircraft Type?

I'm *guessing* here but I have a feeling it will be a 752 or a A320 because it's that time of year.  Smile
An Engineer made a bet that a 747 Gear wouldn't retract in a Hangar. He lost the bet.

I went to FUE on TCX from MAN October last year it was an A320 late afternoon departure, the morning departure was a 757-200. I stayed at the same hotel you are staying at! I loved it there. Hotel is great, loads to do!

Enjoy!

In November it was a 753 and probably will be this month. TCX normally utilise the 752/3 on the MAN-FUE route throughout the year.

The Canaries are always busy over the Christmas/New Year period. Many charters are running multiple flights a week to the different Canary islands in December.

If you call two weeks away close!  Wink

However, it will be a B757.

...and that's why its a pointless task trying to predict the reg on a flight 14+ days away, aircraft move around all the time.

You couldn't even work it out on the basing of the aircraft either as they change for a number of reasons, maintanence, tech aircraft, or just random movement and swaps. Best way it to wait 1 or 2 days before.

Hi,

This service is operated by a B757-300.

EDIT:

By the way, the Barceló Fuerteventura is a superb hotel, you are right in the centre of Costa Caleta, close to the harbour and of course, you get a great view of approaches into Puerto Del Rosario. Head up north whilst your there if you can; Number 6 Bus to the capitol (via FUE!) and then the Number 3 bus to Correlejo. Whilst there, stop of at the Cafe - Secreto Del Sur (best ice cream and coffee on the island) and then why not catch the ferry to Playa Blanca, Lanzarote? Get the Fred. Olsen Express (Bocayna Express) if you can as apposed to the Naviera Armas ferry as the latter does not included the free shuttle to Puerto Del Carmen. Fuerteventura is an amazing place!

Regards
ThomasCook

If it's/was G-JMAA you'll have been on an a/c flown previously by GKirk, Demoose and MYT332 (on different ocassions).
