Talk About Awkward.

Thu Jul 13, 2000 5:38 am

Just a comment really.

On my way back from Buenos Aires...I flew with American Miami-Seattle non-stop in the first class section of a 767. I got a seat the middle of the 2x1x2 configuration. It was really awkward sitting all by myself in the middle...felt like everyone was looking at me  ...it was weird. Not a good choice of configuration...I would have it 2x2x1 (like ohters do) or the other way around.

Is it just me? Or would anybody feel the same? I slept most of the way anyway. and the F/A was very sweet...she assured me that I din't snore or drool at all, which is always a good thing.

I actually really like that seat. I would probably prefer to be in a single seat next to the window, but I have no problem at all flying in that middle seat in the 767 First Class. I like having my choice of aisles in case anything is blocking one, and I like sitting by myself if I'm travelling alone. I don't mind sitting next to a stranger if they're nice, but sometimes I seem to get stuck next to people who are not.
