There seems to be a certain amount of decent connections, however I feel these evening flights to and from BOM
, and indeed DEL
,are primarily aimed at the large point to point traffic that exists between Britain and India.
Unlike the morning flights which are designed to maximise connections to the US, these evening flights are well suited for those who want to leave London in the evening and arrive in India fresh in the morning. I am sure business travellers prefer this to the morning flights where you arrive in India at 1 or 2am!
And similarly for LHR
bound passengers, they can leave India in the afternoon and reach London by 6pm the same day.
