Seriously Cool Aircraft Still Flying In Russia

Wed Dec 13, 2006 6:25 am

There seem to be some seriously cool aircraft still flying in Russia. Someone should tell those guys they could steal any warbird airshow in the West if they bring those two for us to see.

Since you mention that, I noticed that both propellors on both aircraft appear to be in almost exactly the same position. ...Which is an almost impossible coincidence.

Well for most of my life the Ukraine was in The USSR. ...However I apologize to the Ukrainian people for that mistake.

Yes, since the collapse of the Tu-144 project I believe this was all they could come up with.....  Wink

Obviously Tupolev are on a mighty tight budget of late!

On a more serious note, I reckon these days ANY Russian/Soviet aircraft is exceptional - let's face it, they're getting rarer and rarer by the day!
