Airstream Places Dornier 328 Jet
This news was published on Wednesday, December 13th, 2006 and is archived under Business & GA.

Airstream has completed its second Dornier 328 Jet transaction in as many weeks with a sale to Pratt & Whitney Canada of an ex Wanair, Tahiti aircraft on behalf of Universal Asset Management, Inc. Pratt & Whitney plan to reconfigure this aircraft for use as their corporate shuttle linking facilities in Canada and the USA.

This placement brings to six the number of Dornier 328 Jets that Airstream has sold in 2006. Other remarketing successes include Bombardier Q400s, CRJ-100 and Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft.

I assume Pratt & Whitney Canada wouldn't have much trouble maintaining their newly acquired jet. I'm eager to see what new livery P&WC would give it. How are the spares and support situation for current and would be operators of the type? How many are parked and those still flying?
