Air Madrid To Stop Flying TLC

Fri Dec 15, 2006 8:30 am

In order for them to save their license of operation (as an airline) the have just said they will stop flying to Mexico and also they are going to give a 50% off boucher to any passenger that goes through a 2 or more hours delay.

Wow, at last they understood they can not take their fleet to the limit as airplanes sometimes go MX for many reasons. Well, now IB and AM will return to having high fares and packed airplanes. IB may want to use two A346 to Mexico as AM is using only the 777.

What do you people think?

Times have changed. Last year they wanted TLC to upgrade the airport so they could increase capacity, now they are stopping service all together. The air traffic between Mexico and Spain is healthy, no worries.
