Lloyd Aero Boliviano DC-10 MIA-VVI 15th December?

Sat Dec 16, 2006 2:25 am

I don't recall Lloyd operating a DC-10 these days or before and certainly not a direct route from MIA to VVI after they lost their 763's so my best guess would be its either a cargo flight or something they leased, any ideas?

Thanks!
Tomas.

They have their 763s back again. The 763s fly IAD-MIA-VVI on FrSu; and MIA-VVI on We. The 72S is still flying to MIA, on MIA-PTY-VII on Saturdays and MIA-PTY-CBB-VVI on Thursdays.

In addition, they will be using North American Airlines B757-200 aircraft over the next few weeks between IAD-MIA-VVI-EZE.

Given the fact that they are using NAO aircraft, and the aircraft look horribly late from the original schedule yesterday, maybe they had to call up a World DC10 to pick up the slack.

Lloyd Aereo boliviano is operating a Lockeed Tristar L1011, but i don't know if they're operating the L1011 on the route for MIA. I feel sad about the loss of their 763, operated two 763.

That must be wrong!!!

N964PG flies now with Mexicana as XA-MXE and the N957PG will be shortly also there as XA-MXC.

To my informations flies LAB only with two aircrafts - CP-861 (B727-100) and CP-1367 or CP-2455 (B727-200).

I am just going by what is in reservation systems. It can be incorrect, but CRS shows 763s.

The airline is reduced to only two aircraft?

My info about the L1011, is from last October, can be changed!

So..LAB is shorter than Aerosur?

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies. I knew that their 763's are off to Mexicana, leaving them with their 727's which route VVI-PTY-MIA-IAD-MIA-PTY-VVI on certain dates and some other flgihts inside South America I think.

I did see a flight from MIA to VVI with a 752 with the scheduled flight number (901) today and its headed directly from VVI to MIA tonight. The DC-10 is not answered yet and its flight number gives no clues.

That could very well be since the DC-10 departed 6 hours after the 752 today so maybe it was just that.

I think I heard about this and even saw a photo of it at Bolivia but I think that was or is being used to MAD. Besides, if this was the aircraft which operated the flight, the aircraft type wouldn't have been shown as DC-10 on Flightaware but rather L101.

Cheers!
Tomas.

So, can anyone actually confirm their actual current fleet? Sounds like they have downsized significantly...

The link in "Los Tiempos" (sorry, only in Spanish) http://www.lostiempos.com/noticias/16-12-06/16_12_06_eco3.php can give some clues. Nothing is said of DC-10 yet positively, 757.

According to article, LB operates 7 aircraft.
