Finnair's First E190 Takes Flight

Finnair has received their first Embraer 190 aircraft. AY will receive a total of 10 new 100-seat Embraer 190s within the next three years. Once all the aircraft have arrived in 2009, Finnair will have a 20 aircraft Embraer fleet. The fleet currently hast ten 76-seat 170 model aircraft, the core of the narrow body fleet consist of 29 A320 family aircraft.

I second that. Wish they'd fly it to GVA instead of the 170, however AY's 170 are beautiful machines aswell. I was thinking of flying through GVA on my next Finland trip just to hop on an AY Embraer  Silly

First routes will be to Copenhagen, Vaasa, Oulu, Moscow, Gothenburg and Kajaani. When the second one arrives at least Brussels will be added.

There seems to be no plans for EMB-190 to GVA, although in winter months on Saturdays some A32S will be flown too.

AY serves MAN all the time, currently with E-170s, if that was your question.  Smile
