Paasenger Load Factors This X'mas

Tue Dec 26, 2006 5:24 am

I pushed out CO 2618 this morning 12/25 from IAH-MTY with 1 passenger and no bags, apparently his bags were sent to the wrong gate and the aircraft left for MTY.
I do not understand why the flight was not cancelled or rescheduled for a later time, isnt this a waste of time and money? Anyone else have any similar obsevations??

MTY-IAH might have been full, a/c was not coming back to IAH from MTY etc etc etc.

Very probable. CO sent a 767-400 to MEX today, so definately flights are full on the way back to the States.

I know FXramper, flew AUS-DFW-SNA and had several emails throughout the week telling him the fare was overbooked and they would offer 400$ vouchers to those willing to take later flights.

His flight was 2hrs delayed at DFW due to the 737-800 showed a warning light on t/o. He did take his flight and flew in F-class. He said the flight was full from DFW-SNA.
