NW B757 Atlantic First Class?

Fri Dec 29, 2006 4:33 am

Hi to ya all!

Sorry, if discussed before...  angel

AI checked today the fleet of Northwest and found these links:

http://www.nwa.com/travel/trave/seatm/755/index.shtml
http://www.nwa.com/travel/trave/seatm/753/index.shtml

I know that NW is offering the "Classic" or the "New" World Business Class in the front- but what is "FIRST CLASS"? lie-flat seats, AVOD system?

BTW: will all B757Atlantic be reconfig. withe New Coach Class Seat?
110-volt personal computer power outlet, interactive in-flight entertainment system etc.?

Cheers chris

Those are domestic configured NW 757 aircraft. First class is only found on domestic configured aircraft. Anything over the atlantic is sold as World Business Class.

Just a normal F seat, no audio (except on 753) or video (except on 753) and even those two last points are only put into operation on flights to Hawaii.

The aircraft flying transatlantics are configured like this:

I just read that NW 757-200 for the Atlantic will have 16F and 144Y..total 160 seats verses 180plus for domestic 200's.

Yes to save weight. I think they are going to be weight restricted on some routes.

They haven't even started flying trans atlantic yet... how does anyone know what the actual performance will be? Right now it's all on paper. Not mention, I'm sure NWA designed the configuration for optimal performance. Therefore I doubt the a/c will be performance restricted, save for the occasional situation.
