Flights To Ann Arbor (ARB)?

Sun Jul 16, 2000 8:56 am

Anyone know what airlines fly and at what prices to Ann Arbor from Chicago? I know American does (this is goofy: American's schedule says that the aircraft used is a '320', what kind of '320' does American own? I'm going to have to go look up what that code means). Thanks peoples!

Okay... turns out American DOESN'T. Anyone know how much a taxi costs to go from Detroit to Ann Arbor? It's a twenty mile drive!

I pulled up the schedule because I was suspect of an Airbus 320 (a mainline jet) flying that route. American must not serve ARB because it displayed the Detroit-O'Hare schedules. I'm guessing it showed you the nearest airport that American served.
"Shaddap you!"

Ann Arbor does not have a commercial airport. It is served by Detroit's Metropolitan Airport (DTW). Roundtrip from DTW to Midway or ORD is $99 on NWA, Southwest, American, United, Proair.

DTW is served by NWA, SWA, AA, UAL, but not proair. Pro flies into Detroit City which is farther than DTW. Proair is also has not had the best reputation from the city of detroit. I heard that they don't takeoff sometimes if they don't have enough people to fill the plane. Just a bunch of small airline stuff. Just try using NWA the major airline of detroit or the soon to become major airline AA.

Good luck and best flying wishes!!

Well, thanks... looks like Greyhound or Amtrak wins. They're both a heck of a lot cheeper anyway.
"Ahem" - who're you talking to and about what?
