I was at BRS
that evening, and believe me,that wind was extremely strong.I was talking to one of the airport staff, and he said there was an aircraft on approach. He did say this particular airline will land in any weather(any guesses yet???)
I did only see one other aircraft land whilst there, which was a BA
EMB 145,which might be the other accident in question.
Also heard a couple of BA FA
's talking, and they said there was no way they were going back up in that weather.
Also, there must be a lot of difference in each airline operating procedures,as nearly all EZY flights diverted, whilst a couple did make an attempt.
