DL 767-300ER Seating Questions

Sun Dec 31, 2006 2:24 am

Hey all,
This is my first post (just signed up 5 mins ago). I have a question regarding Delta's Boeing 767-300ER in regards to seating. I just booked my first trans-atlantic flight to London this morning for May13 and am wondering what are the best economy seats I can get. As of right now, I am in 18F (ATL-JFK), 18G (JFK-LGW), and 18C (LGW-CVG). Are there any recommendations for seats or do I have some good ones? As well as my first trans-Atlantic, this is also my graduation present from my family!

I have checked SeatGuru.com and LoveMySeat.org and they are contradicting each other with layout of the plane.
Keep Delta My Delta.

SeatGuru IMO is more flexible in rating seats. The best economy seats IMO are 18C/D/E.

DL 767-300ER Seating Questions

I've actually flown on an ER that was in the layout lovemyseat is showing. I just happened to be in 19C which was just a single row. I think this was the old layout and I'm not sure how many, if any, are still in this config. I would think the seatguru might be more accurate. Row 18 is right by the lav, I personally wouldn't sit there.

I think your seats are quite good but personally i would recommend you to request an exit-row seat... these are in my opinion the best on TATL 767's. You have a huge amount of leg room. The only disadvantage is that it might get cold during an overnight flight. Also be aware that your seat does recline. As the first row of exit seats doesn't recline (row 20 i think, and 21 does recline)

Also be aware that there are two types of 763ER, DL also has some ex-gulf air planes which have a slightly different lay-out.

Hope this helps
